The origin of Cricket

Cricket originated from South-East England in the 16th century. It became England’s national sport in the 18th century and was developed globally in the 19th and 20th centuries. International matches were started been played since 1844 and Test cricket began, retrospectively recognized, in 1877.

Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a cricket field, at the centre of which is a rectangular 22-yard-long pitch with a wicket (a set of three wooden stumps) at each end. Each phase of play is called an innings. After either ten batsmen have been dismissed or a fine-tuned number of overs have been consummated, the innings ends and the two teams then swap roles (Test match is an exception). The winning team is the one that scores the most run during their innings. An Umpire is an official who watches a game or match closely to enforce the rules and arbitrate on matters arising from the play.

Currently the top teams reported by ICC; for Test matches is India followed by Australia. For ODI (One Day International) is South Africa followed by Australia and for T20 (twenty overs game) is New Zealand followed by India.

How To Write A Story

Gathering a bunch of letters into coherent words and sentences to create a story seems easy enough. After all, we just have to describe what is happening! However, your story can easily become boring and monotonous if you don't know how to truly write a story.

When I wrote my first book (it's not in English, sadly), I learned several tricks and tips to make people interested in your story. Of course, I don't claim to be an expert, but I have observed that these things are necessary for a good story.
So, these are tips and advice that may help you in your quest to write well.

  1. Write down any ideas immediately.  If you don't, you will forget it and wouldn't be able to get it back. Ever. Seriously, just do it. It won't even take 5 minutes. Who knows, your idea may develop into the best story you will ever write.
  2. Provide more detailed descriptions.
    • The reader won't be invested in what's going on and who's who if your writing reads like a shopping list or an instruction manual. If you don't understand what I mean, here is an example I made up just to demonstrate it to you:                                                                                                                     "One day, Jane woke up. She rubbed her eyes. She thought that this day would be wonderful. Then, she climbed out of bed. She took her towel and clothes. She walked into the bathroom. Then she closed the door..."                                               That sounds horribly boring, isn't it? So, make an effort to make your description seem more interesting, such as adding more details. Using the example above, I want to know if Jane woke up with a yawn, or just slowly sat up. Was the day beautiful because the sun was shining and the birds were chirping? Did she happily walk to the bathroom? If you want to make me interested in your story, I would expect more details about these things. However, overdoing it is also a no-no in my book - it would get too confusing!
  1.  Don't add unnecessary scenes that don't move the plot forward.
    • Basically, don't put in any scenes that are useless. If the conflict never changes, then the story will feel repetitive, and it would be like running in place. So, let's say Brandon has been working on his great invention. Then, you put in a random scene where he just goes to the beach. No, he doesn't eventually think of a major improvement on his invention, or anything like that! So, what's the point of us knowing if he even went to the beach? It's also going to waste your time writing it. So, just mention the part briefly later in the story.
  2. Last of all, relax! If writer's block ever approaches, just take a break for a while. Good luck!

How to Stay Fit

In order to be fit, the first thing we should definitely do is to stay away from junk food. An example of a junk food would be French fries, when I think that that is probably the best thing in the world. So why do we have to avoid devouring French fries? It is because the calories in French fries is too high, and they are not healthy as they are fried, and consuming them may lead to a terrible weight gain.

Instead of consuming junk food, or any food they may be classified as fattening, we should consume more vegetables and fruits. A lot may say that eating those are not enjoyable; however we can actually turn these healthy ingredients into something mouth-watering in so many ways; which includes extracting the natural liquid in the fruits.

The last thing I would like to suggest you is to exercise regularly. Exercise is essential to keep our bodies fit, as it controls our weight. It helps prevent excess weight gain or help maintain weight loss. This happens because when we do physical activities, we burn calories.  Not only exercising maintains our weight, it also improves our mood. Exercising stimulates different types of brain chemicals that may leave us feel happier and more relaxed.

This blog was written purely to finish my work.

First off, this blog was purely written to finish my work, so don't expect any quality content. what i write in this blog is only to fill up the word count and would not have any real essence to it.
So today I woke up to the sound of my alarm, also by the blinding sunlight passing through my window. As I opened my eyes, I found it to difficult and tiring. So tiring that I decided to go back to sleep. As I closed my eyes, I tried to recall the dream that I had last night; only to remember that it was about cows and pigs.

As of the moment I'm typing this paragraph, it is 13 40 ; I'm currently in English class. I'm so bored and just want to get this over with. Right now, I feel like eating some ice cream, vanilla. Speaking of ice creams, do you think a combination of bacon and chocolate ice creams exist? I really want to know.

Right now it is 13 46, I'm desperate to increase the word count and I'm wishing for this class to finish already.

Right now it is 13 51, I have decided to end this blog by inserting a picture of a cute kitten.

Byeeee.

PAX East 2017

In 2004, the folks at Penny Arcade decided they wanted a show exclusively for gaming. Sure, comics, anime, and other nerd hobbies were cool, and those activities all had their own shows… so what about games? From that idea spawned a small 4,500 person event in Bellevue, Washington, focused on the culture and community that is gaming.
Since then, the show hasn’t looked back. Doubling in size each year until venue capacities were reached, in 2010 the show expanded into Boston for PAX East, drawing tens of thousands of attendees in the inaugural year. The shows in Seattle and Boston represent the two largest gaming events in North America!
PAX East 2017 will be held in Boston from March 10th to March 12th. It will feature many different games such as Portal 2, Assasins Creed and Final Fantasy. This year's hype will come from the Nintendo Switch, a handheld console designed for those looking for portability and the capability of it turning into a multiplayer console. PAX includes events of all ages, which is a sure win for all parents out there looking for a short holiday getaway.

Mercedes' New Car Design

With the new season approaching soon, Mercedes alongside with other teams has launched a new car design. The new sleeker shape has been designed to improve the car's aerodynamics. My all time favorite will be the Mercedes car because it is very aesthetic.
Mercedes launched its new car at the UK's Silverstone circuit. Both Bottas and Hamilton (pictured) took the W08 for a spin on Thursday. Mercedes will unveil the W08 and they will take it to the British track in Silverstone for filming.
They say that this season will have the fastest car in the Formula One car history. Also, Valterie Bottas will replace Nico Rosberg for this season. The first season will take place in Melbourne, Australia March 26.
Lewis Hamilton fears that the Ferrari car will be faster than Mercedes.

Can't wait for the season to start !

How Not to Make a Blog

This blog will show you exactly how NOT to make a blog. To do so, you have to have no motivation whatsoever on writing it, just the thought of it should make you want to shut down your computer. With that, you are well on your way on not making a blog.

Next, you have to choose a completely boring and mundane topic nobody would ever care to look at it twice like: "How Not to Make a Blog". With this kind of title, your blog will hopefully be completely ignored and never read.

There are some things you should stay away from as well. Most importantly, you should not make your blog the slightest bit interesting. You should also stay away from making a long and comprehensive blog, your blog should be short and useless.

If you've followed all the steps above, you are sure to make the worst possible blog that nobody will read.

Mandela Effects

Mandela Effects

There's an unexplained phenomenon that you've probably experienced without knowing what it's called, Mandela Effects. What is Mandela Effects? It is a controversy theory that people have debating ever-since. We know you guys don't understand what we trying to say. We have one example that probably make you understand about it. Did you ever heard that nelson Mandela died in 1980's in the prison? well, the fact is unbelievable. He just died on the 5th December 2013. So, which one do you agree with?

The effect is somewhat different from a false memory as it effects large groups of people, seemingly without many connections and without the same emotional factors present. It also seems stronger and harder to escape the feeling that it’s simply a mis-remembering of a detail, which is why people are so adamant with claims of their memories. As such, it’s often been hinted at that the Mandela Effect is closely related to cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance can be mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds beliefs, ideas, or values and is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values. Please note the use of “can be” as there is many purists that don’t accept the broader definition and scope of cognitive dissonance applying to memory versus reality.

we have some examples that make you jaw drops.

  1. "Mirror mirror on the wall"
While the famous Snow White quote you’ve probably heard others say and repeated yourself is “Mirror, mirror on the wall,” it turns out the correct line is “Magic Mirror on the Wall.” Some people also remember the second part of that quote being “Who is the fairest of them all?” but apparently it’s “Who is the fairest one of all?”

 2. The last sentence in the 'We are the champion' song by 'Queen'.

Many of those familiar with the song remember the final lyrics being “No time for losers, ’cause we are the champions…of the world!” Guess what? There is no “of the world!” The song just ends, and it’s driving people crazy because they feel 100% sure that they’ve heard otherwise in the past.
People think the Mona Lisa is smiling now, but she used to be emotionless.
3. People think the Mona Lisa is smiling now, but she used to be emotionless.
A lot of folks passionately insist that the Mona Lisa has changed, because they remember her having a straight face, but now they feel it seems as if she’s got a smirk.
 4. Darth Vader doesn’t say, “Luke, I am your father.”
“Luke, I am your father” is one of the most famous phrases from film, but many are discovering that it’s not what Darth Vader said. He actually says, “No, I am your father.” So, is this just a misremembered movie line or did some otherworldly shenanigans take place? This isn’t the only Star Wars–related Mandela effect instance…
